Veteran Benefits 和 Veteran Dependent Benefits are available to qualified veterans 和 children of deceased 和 100% disabled veterans. 新现役军人, Reserve 和 National Guard Service Members are required to contact their Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor prior to enrolling at 道尔顿状态. The Veteran Affairs School Certification Official (SCO) does not participate in high-pressure recruitment tactics. It is the responsibility of the service member to make the first contact with the SCO.

学生参加了G.I. Bill®  are required to pay all fees as regular students because they are paid benefits directly through the Veteran's Administration. VA benefit applicants should make financial preparation for at least one term to allow for application processing time.

Only classes required in the student's program of study qualify for VA Benefits. Courses taken for audit are not certifiable for VA benefits. 退伍军人 who meet the following qualifications may qualify for a waiver of their student activity 和 technology fees:

  • Georgia residents who are active members of the Georgia National Guard or the Reserves; 和
  • Served in a combat zone for at least 181 consecutive days since September 11, 2001; or
  • Received full disability as a result of injuries suffered in combat during that time; or
  • Were evacuated from a combat zone due to severe injuries suffered during any time while on active duty.
  • Are using Tuition Assistance or are self-pay
  • Are NOT using VA Education Benefits.

The documentation will be forwarded to the Bursar Office to initiate the waiver of your student activity 和 technology fees at 道尔顿状态.

  • American Patriot Freedom Scholarship: Open to children of active duty or veterans
