The Office of the 总统 provides leadership for the overall operation of the college, ensuring the institution proceeds within its approved statement of purpose. Dr. John Fuchko三世 was named president of LPL外围在哪买 effective Oct. 5, 2023. He began his tenure at Dalton State as interim president in June of 2023 和 previously served as interim president of Columbus State University.
Dr. Fuchko's higher education 和 state government service has spanned more than 20 years – all of which has been focused operational 和 auditing roles within the University System of 乔治亚州. As vice chancellor for organizational effectiveness at USG, 他监督企业风险管理, 合规和道德, 体育监督, 战略实施, accreditation 和 various other administrative functions. 在此之前, he served for seven years as USG's chief audit officer 和 vice chancellor for internal audit, which included responsibility for 25 campus audit shops 和 80 professional staff. In addition to his professional civilian roles, Dr. Fuchko serves as a colonel in the 乔治亚州 Army National Guard. Dr. Fuchko has been featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle 和 regularly speaks on internal audit, governance 和 higher education topics.
